I love this - in fact, I have just made 4 hoop pictures in the last couple of weeks even though I haven't embroidered since school days (a long time ago). I used a stamped image and thread, not aplique but i might try some now.xx

How very clever you are! I think this would be much faster than knitting squares to join later to create the same effect! Lovely result and how generous you are to share the directions!

Marvellous! I got my brand newly delivered BigShot out of the box half an hour ago and had a play with the two Sizzlits I got from ebay. Then I started googling to see what else I could use to play with that I've already got - so excited I can use the Fiskars plates - BUT when you say foam pad, what sort of foam and what depth? Any old foam pad or a Sizzix one?
