This is the end result, a cheery table runner.
The plain table runner was bought maybe a couple of years ago from the charity shop together with a dark blue one that's still awaiting some sort of embellishment.
I really enjoyed hand piecing these circles although I got a few things wrong, but thanks to the WWW I learnt how to do it right for next time. Don't you just love the Web?
I've been doing a lot of sewing recently and have even gone and bought a dressmaking pattern. There was a time 20 or so years ago when I did a short course in dressmaking and for a while made most of my clothes, I felt very proud of that and I've decided I'm going to give it another go. I'm starting with this simple tunic for the Summer.
