It's March already and as it usually happens at the beginning of a new month it's time for another Time Capsule and here it is.
This time last year I was busy crocheting my shell blanket which is now on my bed and making squares for yet another blanket which is folded over the arm of the sofa ready to be used whenever needed. I also made the 2 pincushions you see above, one for myself and the other for my mum as a little Mother's Day gift. By the way, Mother's Day is on the 18th.
You can find the tutorial for the pincushion here.
On other news, I've been having a go at Tunisian crochet. Have you ever tried it? I'm using the basic stitch and it's really easy, it makes a very close knit fabric that tends to be quite curly, in this case it doesn't bother me as I'm making a cover for another cushion so the curling problem will get sorted once it's all sewn. This is what it looks like so far.
