The Eva's shawl I've been making for my mum is finally finished. Weyhay!
The border is from Edie Eckman's book and after much thought I chose border number 57. I think it looks beautiful on this shawl and it's so easy to make.
The yarn I used is Sirdar Click DK (70% acrylic 30% wool) of which I have some leftover not only from this shawl but also from previous projects where I used it in different colours.
I'm now using these bits of leftover yarn to make scarfs. The one you see below was made last weekend. The crochet border is from the book mentioned above, number 27. Isn't it pretty? The rest of the scarf was knitted in a stripy pattern. I can't wait to wear it when Winter comes.
I have another scrap scarf on the go, I'll post some pictures of it very soon.
