Here's a suggestion with tutorial for some really easy and quick to make Christmas ornaments.
Again I'm using the Sizzix BigShot and the Originals circles die cut shown in the pictures below.
So, to make these you'll need:
* Felt
* Fabric
* Embroidery thread
1 - Begin by cutting pairs of circles out of felt.
2 - Using one of the circles out of a pair place it on the die over the 3rd circle in size to cut a round window.
3 - Cut a circle out of fabric, this should be big enough to cover the window you've just cut on the felt circle. Place the circle of fabric under the circle of felt and sew with embroidery thread. I used a running stitch but you can use any other more decorative stitch if you want.
4 - Place this circle on top its pair and sew most of the way around. Use polyester filling to stuff the ornament and close. Don't forget to make a loop so you can hang it.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I enjoyed designing and making these
Note: If you don't have a die cut machine to help you cut your circles you can always use as templates any round objects you might have around the house.
